Junior captain goalie is two-year starter who had 165 saves, 54.8 save percentage, 7.55 GAA. … Two-time all-scholastic. … Two-time CCL All-Star. … Plays on the hockey team (defense). … Most memorable moment was winning first round of the tournament. … Favorite athlete is Tom Brady. … Favorite class is math. … Chosen to represent school in Boston’s Sept. 11 Memorial Event. … “Matt represents the growth of the Cardinal Spellman lacrosse programhas seen over the last few years. Our back-to-back tournament appearances and league title this year are things that would not have been possible without the excellent play Matt gave us in each and every game,” coach Ralph Grillone Jr. said.

All-Star. … Two-time Oliver Ames lacrosse MVP. … Most memorable moment was scoring game-winning goal in double overtime against Whitman-Hanson to get into playoffs. … Ran cross country. … Played for Laxachusetts and NESLL. … Favorite athlete is Tom Brady. … Favorite class is AP world history. … Enjoys art and working out. … Will play club lacrosse and join Marine ROTC at George Washington University.

RALPH GRILLONE III

He always puts the team and it’s success first and as a priority. Even with multiple nagging injuries all season, Jimmy still performed at a high level with no complaints,” coach Ralph Grillone Jr. said.
