Penguins 2018 Ryan Birch and 2019’s Brian Abely and Michael Hauptman were select as All-Stars at the 2017 FLG in 3d Tournament in Germantown, MD. Birch, a midfielder from Walpole, led the Penguins 2018’s to a 3rd place finish in the event capping off a strong summer that saw the 2018’s capture the PrimeTime Shootout Championship with playoff wins over Team Central and the Top Gun Fighting Clams, and reach the championship game of the Lake George National Invitational before dropping a tight game to Cold Brook, NY.
Abely and Hauptman, both a huge part of Medfield High School’s successful 2017 campaign, also let the 2019 Penguins to a PrimeTime Shootout Championship.
